When StreetVet got in touch to ask if we could create a bespoke sympathy card for their team to offer clients, we were incredibly honoured. That they wanted to offer sympathy cards speaks volumes - their compassion doesn’t stop at clinical care for pets, but extends to honouring every part of the human-animal bond.
Together, we explored how to make the card just right. We adjusted the size to be pocket-friendly, ideal for volunteers on the move, and chose a sturdier card stock to stand up to all weathers. Sam created a small collection of beautiful designs, and StreetVet volunteers were invited to vote on the one they felt most connected to.
At the StreetVet Volunteers Conference, we finally got to meet the inspiring people behind this life-changing charity. After years of email correspondence, meeting co-founder Jade Statt - along with so many of the wider team - was incredibly special, and made our connection feel even more personal.
We’re proud to be donating these custom-designed sympathy cards to StreetVet, so they can be carried and offered by volunteers across the UK - a small but heartfelt offering of comfort during the hardest goodbyes.
